Walking to the beach allows carefree living, where everyone can come and go as they wish. Its a 5-minute walk to the Lamberts Cove Beach parking lot, a resident's only private beach with miles of untouched sand dunes. This beach has fine sand and silver dollar shells. Because it is open to West Tisbury residents and tenants only, it is never crowded,and the seas are generally calm for great swimming.. Sunsets on the beach are the best on the island. On cooler days, Seth’s Pond (the Island’s largest fresh water swimming pond) is also a 5-minute walk. Nearby is Manaquayak Preserve, a kettle pond.
